We’re excited to announce that Audiomob has been featured in WIRED UK’s November-December 2022 issue. Founders Christian Facey and Wilfrid Obeng were interviewed about their growth in the adtech and gaming spaces for the magazine’s advertising feature (in partnership with Google for Startups).
The issue focuses on 100 different startups advancing within various sectors across the UK and Europe. Audiomob is listed alongside other growing organizations based in Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Tel Aviv.
WIRED UK’s recent feature breaks down Christian and Wilfrid’s building and launching of Audiomob — from first meeting as former Facebook and Google staff to fine-tuning their in-game audio ad plugin, which allowed them to secure $14 million in Series A funding.
Other key highlights include the wider support our team has received from Google for Startups’ Black Founders Fund, our adtech product’s potential for greater expansion across a wider industry range, and our team’s future plans for an IPO.
Audiomob is thrilled to have been given the opportunity speak with WIRED’s editorial team and we look forward to the greater outreach this latest piece will bring:
“I've been a reader of WIRED for years and it's one of the most recognizable technology publications in the world. It's an absolute honour to be included and it really puts a stamp on the contribution we've made to the gaming and adtech spaces.
Over the last few years, our exposure in tier 1 publications — from Forbes to TechCrunch to Business Insider — has been amazing for gaining more exposure to the world's largest developers and brands. I'm sure WIRED will do the same!” - Christian Facey, CEO
